Tom has been chasing Jerry for years, and Jerry’s clever tricks keep turning their rivalry into one wild adventure after another. Tom and Jerry coloring pages mostly feature the characters themselves, along with scenes from some of the funniest moments in the cartoon. Some pages also show Spike, the emotional bulldog who is usually patient, though Jerry often tries to pull him into his schemes against Tom.

As the creators say, the idea of the cartoon is that no matter how hard Tom tries, he can never catch Jerry. For every trick Tom uses, Jerry answers with an even bigger one.

It can be fun to remember the characters’ personalities while coloring, so the picture has both color and mood.

Tom is sometimes called Jasper before his name Tom, if you go back to the very beginning of the cartoons. For Tom’s fur, dark blue pencils work well, while the ears, belly, and paws can be colored with paint by mixing pink with white and blue with white to make soft pastel shades. Black pencils are useful for drawing his long whiskers. Tom is hot-tempered, though sometimes he feels lonely and becomes vulnerable. Since he belongs both at home and outdoors, you can add natural details around the picture to suit a child’s imagination. It is especially nice when, after coloring, you add your own details and make the image unique.

Jerry is best colored with orange and yellow tones, along with soft pink ears. You may not even need pencils or markers. Paint is a great choice. This independent and very clever little eater will be happy if you draw a piece of cheese or his favorite ice cream beside him.
